Spectrometry

Atomic spectroscopy:
It deals with the study of electromagnetic radiation absorbed and emitted by atoms .The unique
elements have characteristic spectra, atomic spectroscopy, specifically, a mass spectrum is
applied for the determination of elemental compositions.
Raman Spectroscopy:
It is a spectroscopic technique based on inelastic scattering of monochromatic light, usually from
a laser source. Inelastic Scattering of monochromatic light means that the frequency of photons
in monochromatic light changes upon interaction with a sample.
Photo thermal spectroscopy:
Photo thermal spectroscopy is a group of high sensitivity spectroscopy techniques which is used
to measure optical absorption and thermal characteristics of a sample. The basis of photo thermal
spectroscopy is the change in the thermal state of the sample resulting from the absorption of
radiation
